“Red", I write "is the color of life. It's blood, passion, rage. It's menstrual flow and after birth. Beginnings and violent end. Red is the color of love. Beating hearts and hungry lips. Roses, Valentines, cherries. Red is the color of shame. Crimson cheeks and spilled blood. Broken hearts, opened veins. A burning desire to return to white.”
- Mary Hogan

With the color red as the backdrop, window installation for the ART HAUS 2017 Fall-Winter collection features a series of boldly geometric and sculptural works. Inspired by the Memphis Group during the 1980’s that rebelled against any confining forms to incorporate perspectives that were once viewed as unacceptable into their designs to celebrate art with unique forms and vivid colors.

The window installation extends the color red from flooring, walls, to the installation artwork, along with the vibrant neon lights, to highlight the freedom and passion of the color while playing with the city lights of the night.
